Triple threat Taryn Manning is turning heads and ears everywhere she goes, and is running full speed with her new electro/house/pop solo career. While Manning is the front woman of the trip-pop band Boomkat, currently on hiatus, she isn't letting that stop her from also pursuing a sound that many new fans are eager to hear from her.

Manning has been in the studio laying down a bunch of fresh new tracks in preparation for the release of a pair two EPs. These EPs are leading up to Manning's highly anticipated first solo album. “After doing it all I am ecstatic to return to music, which is my first passion…my first love really,” says Taryn. “Music has a way of creating this unparalleled energy in me and I can’t wait for my fans to hear my new song and have them dance to it.”

This song, “Turn It Up!”, was both co-written and performed by Manning, and is the first vivacious track to be released off of her premier album. The track was so well received by her fans that she was even performing it acoustically just weeks after its release. Remixes of the track by such artists as Richard Morel, Ian Nieman and DJ Irene will also be available.

With an exceptional ear for music, Manning easily books high profile venues and events including the Wynn Hotel Vegas, Hard Rock Vegas, Sir Richard Branson's Rock The Casbah Charity, House of Hype¹s Sundance and Coachella parties, P Diddy's Ciroc New Year's Party, and The Runaways premier party at SXSW – and she doesn't just recycle the same songs over and over again either. She knows what people want to hear and works to create a customized playlist for each and every event.

Manning is also known for exploring a range of diverse roles in television, independent films and major studio productions. She earned her first major acting role in Crazy/Beautiful, which lead to roles in 8 Mile, Hustle & Flow, Hawaii Five O, and Sons of Anarchy to name a few. In 2010, Manning began work on The Story Of Bonnie And Clyde, written and directed by Tonya S. Holly opposite Hilary Duff, and completed work on The Speed of Thought, opposite Nick Stahl. Previously, Manning also starred in the films Weirdsville opposite Wes Bentley and Scott Speedman, and The Perfect Age Of Rock 'N' Roll opposite Kevin Zegers and Jason Ritter.

Manning is always one to have multiple projects in the works, and her ability to juggle her acting career, sultry vocals as the front woman of Boomkat, and saucy electronic beats on her solo tracks makes Manning a true force in the industry. Her music career began in 2003 when Taryn and her brother Kellin united to form the band, Boomkat. The duo released their debut album, Boomkatalog One through Dreamworks with their first single, "The Wreckoning,” making its debut as #1 on Billboard¹s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Boomkat closed out 2003 as Billboard Magazine¹s #5 Hot Dance Club Play Artist of the Year. After a four-year hiatus and much anticipation, Boomkat released a new single "Runaway." Motivated by the success of the track, Boomkat released their sophomore album, A Million Trillion Stars in March 2009 through Manning¹s Little Vanilla Records. From the beginning of their career, Boomkat experienced immediate success. The soulful single "Wastin' My Time" from the same record was personally licensed by Eminem and featured on the 8 Mile Soundtrack which sold over 6 million records worldwide. Boomkat¹s remake of the Blondie song "Rip Her to Shreds" can be heard in the opening credits of the film Mean Girls and “The Wreckoning” was used in the opening scene of The Italian Job.

Taryn's new solo music continues to be a hit with placements on Hawaii Five-O, Melrose Place and How To Make It In America to name a few.
